MAN Roland Recruits to Further Promote ProServ Spares and Service Specialist for MAN GB

MAN Roland GB has announced the appointment of Graham Linton to the position of Business Development Specialist, a role that will include the promotion of the company’s spares and service capabilities for sheet-fed presses.

Commenting on his new position, Graham said, “The current range of technical service offerings from MAN Roland has been created to provide printers with a number of important benefits. It is my task to ensure that MAN Roland sheet-fed press users have the right service contract for their business needs, and also to ensure that they are getting the best possible performance out of their machinery – there is an inextricable link between regular maintenance and overall performance of the product.”

ProServ maintenance and inspection contracts are available in four versions: ProServ Basic, Basic Plus, Comfort, and Supreme. “Preventative maintenance is the key ingredient in our service packages,” said Graham Linton. “We have a variety of diagnostic tools at our disposal that can provide indications of wear and tear on press parts. If we receive strong indications regarding the imminent failure of a critical press component, we can ensure that it is replaced before a breakdown happens. This predictive approach aims to ensure that press up-time is maximized.

“One other critical area regarding the maintenance inspection is to ensure that machinery continues to conform to health and safety legislation,” added Graham. “Companies simply cannot afford to be on the wrong side of such legislation, so we ensure that all guards and warning systems are working correctly.”
