Markus Rall Appointed to Supervisory Board of MAN Roland - New Sheetfed Board Member for MAN

The Supervisory Board of MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG has announced that it has filled the vacancy for a board member to head the Sheetfed Business Division. Dr Markus Rall will be take up his new duties as of 1st November 2005.

Markus Rall (41) has been with MAN Roland since 1995. After gaining a doctorate in physics and a master’s degree in economics, he spent his first three years in the sales operation for sheetfed presses, and then, from 1998, embarked on a highly successful time as General Manager of MAN Roland Greater China.

Marcus Rall’s appointment is a clear signal of purposeful intent for the MAN Roland organization and for the market alike. In conjunction with the targeted turn-around in the sheetfed sector, which is making good progress thanks to structurally conceived cost-cutting projects, together with excellent order bookings in recent months, it opens up new and auspicious prospects for the workforce and the company as a whole.

With Dr Rall the board consists now of four members: the Chairman Gerd Finkbeiner, Paul Steidle, responsible for the web fed business division, and Dr Ingo Koch, responsible for Controlling and IT.
