Baumann Handling Equipment

The key success in any printing company is productivity. Traditionally UK printers have used human labour to move paper around the bindery. However by using materials handling equipment productivity will increase dramatically. Baumann's figures show an increase in productivity of between 30% and 70%.

Baumann manufactures modular materials handling systems, which can be used by any printer or finisher. Comprising components including pile hoists, joggers, air tables, loaders and unloaders. They are designed in sizes to correspond with the paper formats used.

At Drupa 2004 Baumann launched the BASA automatic jogger. The BASA is made for fully automated transfer of paper from pallet to jogger and then to unloader for offline jogging systems. Or inline by grippers to fully automated cutting systems, including multiple unloaders for different jobs on the same sheets.
