Countdown to DRUPA 2008 Something new is coming. You should come, too.
Dusseldorf is the place to be between May 29 and June 11 this year as drupa finally arrives and the industry gets to see the latest innovations from manroland.
In the web world, we’ve expanded on last year’s introduction of a robot-based Automatic Plate Loading system for newspaper presses, by announcing systems for ROTOMAN and LITHOMAN presses. The LITHOMAN system is expected to complete an 8 plate changeover in just 4 minutes instead of 10 minutes using a Power Plate Loading system.
For sheetfed, all main product lines will be exhibited at the show, including a new version of the Inline Foiler Prindor for the ROLAND 500.
In colour management, we‘re showing an inline version of ColorPilot. By moving colour management inside the press, waste should be reduced considerably.
One other introduction that is bound to cause great excitement is a perfecting system for the ROLAND 900XXL. Already one of the UK’s most popular large-format presses, the extended capabilities offered by a perfecting machine will appeal to many printers looking to maximise productivity.
